The making of Ilo Milo

It has been awhile that I never write. Finally I'm back here again. I just got a special order recently. A crochet fans who gonna have a birthday party and ask to get a dozen of Ilo Milo from me. It is a really rush order, I've actually stop selling the crocheted finished doll due to constraint of time, but to some extent, I feel like helping out when somebody asked so politely and I know I should just do it to test my limitation too.

Before I really promised to do so, I do actually checked on my yarn to make sure that I do have enough supplies. When I almost finished, I'm so afraid that I run out of that color of yarn.

I started with the body and face first, when I finished crocheted the first body, I was like, mm....there's another 11 body to go, way to go. After 2 to 3 days, I finally finished all the bodies. Now, there are 24 hands that I need to make. OMG, is 24!!! But I still get through it.

Day by day, and I almost run out of time, I'm too worried that I can't sent in the parcel on time. I thought I can finished it within the time frame that I've set, but I'm wrong, these really need lots of time, it is not as simple as it seems. 

When I finished the 24 hands and there are 24 legs need to be done too!!! hahaha. Still, I'm of course able to complete it. After that I start stuffing the fiberfill into the crocheted hands and legs, then sewing on both hands and legs to the body. I'm so so so happy that I finally done everything then I found out that there're two extra legs unclaimed. ehh....I hope I don't missed it in any one of the dolls that I've sent to the buyer.

I finally sent!!!  The shipping cost, cost me really something. I hope it can reached the buyer on time. It is all about reputation now.  =)

YUNA (FINAL FANTASY X)

YUNA, the heroin from Final Fantasy X.

Short intro to the character

In Final Fantasy X, Yuna is introduced as a summoner who can use healing magic and is able to summon powerful magical entities called aeons with help from spirits known as Fayths. (Wikipedia)

I simply like this outfit of Yuna, the combination of the colors of her kimono is so sharp and stand out among the others. Well, to make this amigurumi, it really needs some time to complete. It is so much fun to shoot the moment during the photo session.

BABURU MINI - Blue Angel

Here's the Baburu Mini I made named Blue Angel (Aoi Tenshi 青い天使). 

It is a key-chain, approximately 4 inches tall. I made a cute little hat for this angel and a blue dress with gold color laces. Having a top of brown short hair, playing around the garden, sleeping on the grass enjoying the breeze. ^^

This is specially made it for a friend of mine as a pressie. Hope she like it and I'll come up with more Baburu Mini because the size is so cute compare to my other Baburu dolls.

Vincent Valentine

Vincent Valentine (ヴィンセント・ヴァレンタイン Vinsento Varentain),
the optional character from Final Fantasy VII. Vincent holds a gun as his weapon being a genetically modified human.

In the backstory to Final Fantasy VII, Vincent is a Turk who is assigned to guard the scientist Lucrecia Crescent, with whom he falls in love. After a series of scientific experiments involving the cells of the extraterrestrial lifeform Jenova, Crescent gives birth to the game's antagonist, Sephiroth. Soon thereafter, Vincent himself became subject to experiments performed by a Crescent's boss, Professor Hojo, resulting in-genetic modification that means he will not age. (Wikipedia)

Vincent a popular character loved by most of the people out there. The long black hair with the red coat covered his jaw attracted my attention to make this amigurumi.
